SWEET MARTA is a singer and the only female representative of the blues harmonica scene in the entire state. She's from Salt, a town in Girona, Catalonia (Spain). Her discovery of her genre is linked to that of the harmonica being a double passion and causing it to occupy a very prominent place in the field of state and international blues scene in a few years.
With her two established projects, the band SWEET MARTA & THE BLUES SHAKERS and the acoustic duo SWEET MARTA & JOHNNY BIGSTONE she has enjoyed participating in many national and European festivals such as the Bilbao Blues Festival, Festival de Blues de Barcelona, Blues Heaven Festival, Den Bla Festival, Trieux Blues Festival, among many others. Also she shared the stage and tourings with the best artists of the national and international blues scene such as Mark Hummel, Curtis Salgado, Dennis Grueling, R.J Mischo, Paul Orta, Greg Izor, Victor Puertas, Joan Pau Cumellas, Nico Wayne Toussaint, Knock Out Greg, Steve West Weston, Tony Holiday, Billy Branch, among others. Also she is been the first Spanish artist to participate in the international "Mark Hummel's Blues Harmonica Blowout 2025" touring throughtout the western United Estates.
Her career and passion for the genre have made her a reference in today's great harmonica blues scene.
